Janita Jesseramsing Andersen
Janita Jesseramsing Andersen joined FranklinCovey in 1997, and over the years worked closely with Dr. Stephen R. Covey on special projects and as his international publicist. She has worked in several capacities at FranklinCovey including directing global publishing rights, marketing, and program/product development; developing and implementing university leadership solutions, and conducting research projects for The Leader in Me practice. She currently serves as a Leader in Me coach and consultant. Her passion is to help schools succeed in their Leader in Me journey. She is mission-oriented about making a difference in the lives of students, school staff, and families. Janita loves her job most when she is in a Leader in Me School, seeing and hearing kids thrive as leaders. Prior to joining FranklinCovey, Janita worked at Brigham Young University in the areas of alumni relations, fund raising, program development, and marketing. She has also been a free-lance writer and public-relations specialist. Janita was born in Mauritius, a small island in the Indian Ocean, and grew up in Washington, D.C., in the diplomatic community. She also has roots in Trinidad and Tobago. She has traveled extensively and loves working in diverse, multicultural settings. She resides in Utah with her husband Steven and their three children.
